The annual Newport Pride Market & Festival is back at the Great Friends Meeting House with unique vendors, great performances, and live music celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community in Newport. The Festival will be open from 11 - 4 pm on Saturday, June 25 (Rain date: Sunday, June 26). DJ Rob Dixon will be playing fun pride theme tunes. Below is a list of vendors and performers you can expect to see there!

Now for the main events...

Pride Ride," a 2-mile loop around town in partnership with local non-profit Bike Newport starting at 12 pm from the Great Friends Meeting House (21 Farewell St). The ride will end up at the same spot where all are invited to enjoy a Pride Market & Festival (see line-up participants below) with local vendors, performers & music. All happening on Saturday, June 25, from 11 am to 4 pm.


Thanks to the Newport Historical Society for sponsoring and allowing us to use the fantastic lawn where the fest will be hosted. We are inspired by how much welcoming support we have received from the community.

Pride Pins All June by Newport Out


We have a unique pride pin–designed by Spence Creative–that people can purchase at locations in the area beginning in May. Businesses offer up deals that people can access throughout June with their pins. You can buy them at:

Eileen on Thames (452 Thames St, Newport) - 100% of rainbow sticker sales in June will be donated to Newport Pride events and programming!

Giusto Newport (4 Commercial Wharf) - They are donating $1 of every Rainbow Road cocktail, a delicious combo of limoncello, run and mint spritz to Newport Pride.

Friday, June 24 - Newport Harbor Hotel Pride Kick Off



Newport Pride is proud to announce the 5th Annual Newport Pride Weekend starting with a kick-off social with drinks & fun music. This special event will be held at the Newport Harbor Hotel on Friday, June 24, from 6-9 pm. We invite you to stay for the weekend and join us for two days of exciting festivities.


This sunset social features tasteful electronic music by masterful DJ Katie Marie & Matt Kenny. This is a fun event that you don't want to miss. Upon entry, all ticketed guests will receive a beer, thanks to Provincetown Brewing. Proceeds will go to support Newport Pride non-profit.

Saturday, June 25, 12 pm - Pride on Bikes!


Grab some friends and join us, in partnership with Bike Newport, for the super fun annual Newport Pride Ride 🏳️‍🌈 🚲 on Saturday, June 25 at 12 pm. This easy 2-mile bike parade around Newport starts and concludes at the Great Friends Meeting House (21 Farewell St) in time for the Pride Market & Festival from 11 am - 4 pm! 🏳️‍🌈 🚲

**All bike riders must pre-register for free here, or sign a waiver on the day of the event.


Come and display your Pride and support for our LGBTQ+ community. Please wear a helmet, bring a water bottle, and listen for and follow the instructions on the day.

Sat, June 25 - NPT HAUS at Parlor



Ready for an eleganza extravaganza? This night-time 21+ celebration at Parlor in Newport will feature a line up of DJs curated by our friends at NPT HAUS (@npt_haus). Get your tickets today!


Sun, June 26 - Pride Closing at Newport Craft Brewery & Distillery



This family-friends event at Newport Craft Brewery & Distillery will feature great brews, a full bar, food trucks, games, a raffle, and live music sets from:

Q&A

Getting There / Parking

Did you know the festival is along a major RIPTA bus line from Providence? Take the bus in from out of town! Another great option is the Providence to Newport ferry (you can take your bikes on for free!)


The Great Friends Meeting House is located at 21 Farewell Street in the heart of Newport. There are multiple daily rate private parking options just down Marlborough Street and the Visitor's Center parking garage is only .25 miles away.


Where to eat/drink during or after the fest

We highly encourage you to stay at the fest during the whole time to enjoy resources, vendors & performers. But if you feel eager to go and explore the area. We recommend visiting the Eat + Drink page from Newport Out's & Discover Newport for more options.

We advocate for equality and more inclusive policies, and safe and welcoming spaces, provide resources and education to expand community understanding, support diverse LGBTQ+ identities and history, and produce events for people to connect, learn, and celebrate.
